Fuchi, Thanks for the M2 link. I have a couple of more questions I suspect you can answer.

When I operate with a P200+ 6x86 and the system clock is 75MHz and the processor is jumpered for 2:1 ratio so that the CPU is clocked at 150 MHz is the PCI Bus also running at 75MHz?

If the PCI bus is running at 75MHz will all boards originally designed for a PCI Bus clocked at 66MHz maximum work properly when clocked at the higher rate? I have had some problems in this area. When I have a better idea what is actually happening, I will give you more details. Incidently, my P200+ chip is a 6x86L GP200+ 2.8 Volt (i.e., dual powered chip).

It took me a little time to figure-out how to jumper the Mustang R534 Board because the motherboard CPU selection summary jumper sheet does not include the 6x86L processor in the list and of course I was not aware of Cyrix's new low power version.

I have been able to run my P200+ chip at 133 MHz without any problems (a limited test). My brother and I have built two Cyrix P166+ systems which have worked perfectly. I have yet to enable Linear Burst Mode, that should happen later today.

I will appreciate any additional insight you may have. Otherwise, I will be speaking with Cyrix Technical Support on Thursday.

Bob
