Noticed on Kitco one of their posters said his broker had been told that all ML brokers are to cover their gold shorts NOW. Interesting that ML was a loaner to LTCM ..... ML would know if LTCM had gold shorts to cover. Do not know if this is true - but if it is, we could be getting ready for one major short squeeze. If there are a lot of other hedge funds with gold shorts, could be interesting.
