Excellent News!!

We came across a story on the Dow Jones Newswire on Nortran. They recently interviewed Nortran's Chief Executive, Bob Rieder.

Here are some highlights:

1) Nortran expects to sign its second partnership agreement with a larger pharmaceutical company by the end of the year.

2) The next partnership agreement probably will be to develop an experimental impotence drug, which has a different mode of action from impotence drugs currently on the market.

3) Nortran's strategy is to develop a succession of such partnerships to generate the company's first significant revenue. Nortran is in discussions with several leading pharmaceutical companies.

4) Nortran expects to start generating revenue a year from now from Asian sales of a new drug it's developing as a local anaesthetic. Phase two clinical trials of this drug are planned for early 2000 in the US.

5) Nortran has sufficient cash to fund its projected research program for the next 18 months. It has no pressing need to raise capital.

Our small group in Alberta has bought another 100,000 shares in the last couple of weeks. We are very excited about Nortran's potential.
The bid side has firmed up nicely (over 80,000 shares to buy today between $.95 - $1.00) The only negative we see is the present uncertain market conditions.

Those that are patient with Nortran will be rewarded!!

We still believe Nortran will be $4 sometime in 1999!

Short term pain, long term gain.
