Jim Cramer's take on MU:

(excerpts)

<<Wrong! Rear Echelon Revelations: Back on Top in DRAM Land
By James J. Cramer

Don't look now, but the U.S. is about to get back in the DRAM domination game. Despite concerted efforts by the sell side, including Tom Kurlak at Merrill, to portray this Micron (MU:NYSE) resurgence as nothing but a one-time blip on the way to oblivion, I think MU might be the real thing.

. . .

What makes me want to buy more stock today is the realization that MU got a great deal with TXN (and vice versa) getting state-of-the-art technology at the very moment when South Korea and Japan got knocked out of the box. We know from order trends in semiconductor equipment land that no new sizable factories are on the horizon over there, and we know from the financial institutions in disarray in East Asia that credit will be hard to come by. In the
meantime, MU is sitting pretty with good tech, a lead on everybody else and the ability to finance whatever is necessary . . . >>
