(Maybe this is part of the game. Make the people confusing it with a better known name.)

About two years ago an acquaintance of mine asked me which stocks were the strongest for his retirement plan. I told him to take a look at DELL and CSCO, neglecting to mention the symbols and instead referring to the stocks only by name. A few days later he said he was going to put in his orders and made a comment about future prospects of the timber and grocery industries. All I could say was "Huh?" Turns out he thought the NASDAQ was the same as OTC:BB and only wanted information on "quality NYSE stocks." His broker had sent him reports on Deltec (DEL) and Sysco (SYY).

When I last talked to him, he'd bought KO and DIS.
