Resolution Sucks!

Well the TV resolution is not so high either. And I figured you can give everyone in the family a pair of the glasses and a headphone (or build the two into a helmet) and each person could watch theirown channel, after small modification to the set top box.

P.S. The 3d glasses you mention require a monitor. They use shutter LCD technology.

P.S. I don't find the idea of exposing my retina to laser beams in a non-medical application appealing.
