Shane: I have never been a fan of cash reserves. I am buying whenever I can. We may be on a fine line here between recession and a soft landing - but all I see is oodles of quality companies going cheap. I agree. I am fully invested. What I meant by "nose to the grindstone... etc." was that I was having to hustle up some billable time in order to build more investable cash which I can deploy now and at 'tax selling' time. As for 'gurus', one has only to look at the results at LTCM with its Nobel laureate-developed investment model...and I thought I had a bad August! BTW, whatever happened to Ms. Garzarelli? Last I heard she'd turned bullish just in time to catch the market top. K=Jock Now that would blow me away! MPD heavily laced with self-loathing? Nah...even multiple personalities would get along better than those two. K=Wolf Well, during the recent market downdraughts, there were occasional memory lapses...time lost, that kinda stuff.
