Wouldn't this be a nice fit for AT&T and EGGS

DETROIT, Sept 29 (Reuters) - AT&T (NYSE:T), which entered a
marketing partnership with Internet search engine company
Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) last week, expects to strike similar
alliances with other Internet companies, chairman and chief
executive officer C. Michael Armstrong said Tuesday.
"The Internet is the fastest growing communications
application," Armstrong said in an interview here. "AT&T will
be an increasing participant in the Internet growth and
alliances are very much a part of our strategy to achieve
that."
On Sept 23, Yahoo named AT&T as its new partner for its
Yahoo Online service after its marketing pact with MCI
Communications Corp. (NASDAQ:MCIC) ended a week earlier.
The company has forged marketing alliances with Lycos Inc.
(NASDAQ:LCOS) and Infoseek Corp. (NASDAQ:SEEK), two other search engine
companies, but Armstrong has said the company has not met its
potential in the Internet.
On Tuesday, Armstrong did not specify what types of
alliances the company would look to forge or what companies it
would look to forge them with. Speaking with reporters before a
speech at the Economic Club of Detroit, Armstrong also said the
company would put its fixed wireless service into a test next
year "and from what we learn from that market test into
deployment starting in the year 2000."
