Re: "AMD will report earnings next Tuesday and release K7 on October 15. There would be plenty of data to discuss. " AMD will announce that the K7 project has been boughtout by KMart. KMart will handle all future development and marketing of the K7 and all future AMD products. The industry agrees that this will enhance the K7's chances of success. Jerry Sanders is unavailable for comment. EP
