Info never bothered me, and I have nothing against him. I did not however appreciate what ocured on the thread with respect to you and others. It was initially hard to tell from just reading these posts but it became evident you were being harassed.

I reread a great deal of this thread last night and believe that there are some quite well written posts which relate to the subject matter; both in general and as it pertains to SI. 'Early' ID did not seem the same personality as 'Late' ID, if only for the few well written posts he made in the early days of this thread.

I noticed that people slowly turned away from this thread. Some because they had stated their opinion, but more often there seemed to be a mild antagonism that grew up between individual participants and the 'moderator'. People left as a result. Whatever the cause, it was unfortunate.

Not everything on SI has to be about investing and that's what the coffee shop threads are for. I believe this thread served a useful purpose. First to discuss what happened to EC, and to consider just what the action meant and why it happened. Secondly, to discuss some of the long standing problems of not speaking out in the face of injustice, and finally of allowing some discussion of the Ethos of conduct on SI itself.

I, for one, learned something from the discussion. I appreciate the posts of others and acknowledge the opportunity to ruminate on my own thoughts.
