<Now, Richard Habib is just pissing me off> - -Well I'm just shocked.

For anyone that cares, unlike the last few days there were a bunch of 10,000+ blocks today - 23 or so - 600K shares. Seems like most were on the buy side although there appeared to be a flurry of decent size sells near the close. Once again we didn't break through 40 so that together with the late decline in Asian markets leads moi to believe we have a good chance of breaking below 38 intra-day. Another buy opportunity? Actually, I think I'm just about stocked up on Apple.

IMHO the new cheap portable is a sign of confusion at Apple that while minor harkens back to the bad old days. I was going to post an article concerning Pres Clinton's new Gateway Solo 3100 but I thought Roy might think badly of me. For what it's worth the Powerbook was mentioned as the inspiration for the styling.

Andrew is correct, the analysts will be looking of course for forward looking statements. I would suppose they'll also be looking for earnings to meet whisper numbers, margins to stay high such that Apple remains distinguished from Wintel, revenue growth even though Fred didn't promise much - oh and any indication of market share gains.

You know I think I'm the one that through a poor choice of words mentioned analysts. What I should have said was that the lack of large block buying was making me nervous not lack of analysts comments. We did appear to have some block buying interest today and while I appreciate having all of you fine folks on my side of the trade I'd rather have a little institutional buying now and again especially after I have a position. But I'm sure we all agree most analysts are morons although it's nice for them to recommend stocks you already own.

I'll save this for the bottom - maybe it won't be read and I won't be abused. Elliot Wave is voodoo with about the same ability to predict human behavior as astrology - which Jerry Favor apparently believe is highly correlated. Any good statisticians want to chime in here? Rich
