BROD ownership in Virtual Vineyards? (from CBS MarketWatch - Internet Daily)

Virtual Vineyards sees profit
Online wine retailer Virtual Vineyards is optimistic the three-year-old venture will show a profit in the next 12 months. Co-founder Peter Granoff said sales have tripled in the past year, although he declined to be specific in a conversation with Bloomberg news. Some months have been profitable, he said. There are no plans for an initial public offering, he added. "It may happen," Granoff said, "but only if we feel it's the right solution to further our growth." The Napa, Calif.-based company's investors include Granoff, Mitsubishi International Corp., The Learning Co.'s Broderbund division and Inroads Capital Partners, according to Bloomberg. Their investment since 1994 totals a reported $9 million.

I have migrated from the BROD thread -- suppose it is now defunct.
