Andrew-- I have been purchasing WMX through a DRIP (reinvested dividends and supplemntal contributions) partially because of their interest(s) in 'clean' water. Lately, WMX has been pulling away from the industry, moving (it appears) back towards their core industry of solid waste. Too much competition... minimal return on investments, I wonder? Still, their retreat may bode well for the companies who remain. By definition, what I seek is a well managed company that can produce shareholder value for the long, long term. Potable water may become a scarce commodity nationally, as well as internationally... and I'd like to leave a small (okay, big) stake in one of the industry's winners for my heirs. Note: Your concern about discussing your employer is noted. E-mail works for me. Paul
