Of all the MXi info in the pdf file, here's the bits I was most interested in (from the 2nd to the last page):

Tape out 4Q97 (too early for V2 unless they respun, but Banshee 2D was ready)

Production 2H98 (Then we should be hearing more real soon now)

9M transistors (Holy cow!)

PR300-PR400 (This means 233-333 MHz, they need to get it higher)

The DVD looks real good, a box with this chipset could definitely double as a consumer DVD deck. They didn't mention AC3 output, but there shouldn't be any problem including it. Anyone know what kind of selection there is for VIP parts?

Has an ISA bridge, but I don't think a box needs to include any ISA slots.

The audio is dated, but may be sufficient.

Appears to include VGA and TV out.

They should include 10BT in the South Bridge next round.

It won't make a great PC, but would make a nice set-top if it includes enough to run windows CD's.
