Thread: Over the short period in which I've
become interested in biotech stocks, I have
been working on the assumption that biotech
companies have been patenting compounds and
procedures to manipulate genes--but not actually
the genes themselves. I guess I have been wrong.
Has GZTC not only spliced genes into the frankenstein
goats, but also patented those genes as well?

To me it makes sense to patent all the intellectual
property which goes into building a transgenic sheep
or goat--maybe not human though;-)--but the gene
itself...that just seems crazy to me. If anybody has
seen a book on the subject, please PM me!
