>>COMS must be in play or they would be tearing it up with PR to promote their turnaround!!!<<
I disagree. I think you have the picture a little distorted. It's true if a company is in turnaround, it should toot it's own horn. But, it definitely shouldn't overdo it. Especially, since COMS is still on the turnaround path. A company doesn't turnaround in one quarter. This last quarter was part of a good beginning in a process that will be completed overnight.
Seems like just because COMS had a decent quarter, some people expect it to be back to "normal" 100%. I agree the stock price will go up, but it's not the like the whole world loves COMS all of a sudden. PLUS, world market situations are constant hurdles to jump over.
Also, in my opinion, unless COMS gets a ridiculous amount of $$ to merge, it's not going to. And nobody is going to pay COMS an incredible sum, IMO. Company market caps are getting lower, and it's been shown that larger mergers are not the instant answer to all problems. Large mergers are a big pain in the neck, and have to be thought out very carefully. We have lots of examples to go by.
I wouldn't be surprised if LU takes a cautious approach and accumulates the necessary knowledge it needs in bits and piece rather than one huge monolithic company.
Isn't 1/2 the problem just getting the intellectual capital that is knowledgeable with Data Networks?
