Have the daimon started but always get the message "parameter 1 is not defined in the profile"

This means the the root directory specified in the VMS statement is not monitored by the profile program.

If the VMS statement says "C:\META\DIR1" and "C:\META" is not one of the virtual profiles, you will get this message.

To fix it, either change the root directory in the VMS statement to an existing profile directory, or create a ne profile with the root directory name in the VMS statement.
