Mint...minting! Bought some more coins today. From my dealer: 1998 (up to now): 1.2 million ounces sold as coins (American Eagles) 1997: 750,000 1996: 250,000 1991-1996: less than 500,000 per year Top year: 1987... 1.5 million that year, one year after the beginning of American Eagle... and we know what 1987 brought to the stock market. Then, inflation was a problem... not now... what gives? Good luck FHG
