Set; Not exactly, the normal thing with TA is if you see a price
volume divergence , ( higher price trend but falling volume trend,
a stock will soon correct. ) or the other way around.
But some stocks don't give themselves to TA as well as others,
it's for sure not some holy grail.

LU happens to be high up on the hog when it comes to index arbitrage,
for some time I've gone on about how the McGraw Hill mode of
weighting indexes, coupled with the popular increase in
index funds , who use a program trading scam going from futures
to stocks and back in a way to stay in step with the S&P, causes
Stocks high up on the market cap list to behave in a way that's
not the same as their smaller cousin's.
------------------------

So much of TA was developed and accepted as some holy grail prior
to the new dynamics that has come into play.
I track the Nifty Fifty , separate from the rest of the market,
they don't behave the same way. Look at MSFT..can you believe
they are going to sell enough disks and earn more money than
most of the major oil companies put together. Well the market
has them priced that way. It's insane but it's there.
