Look Dwight, you are uninformed on the peanut butter in schools issue. And Im not going to let the nutcases here turn this into a partisan thing. The fact is, people with this peanut disease can die if they are exposed to peanuts of any kind. Last year at work one of my coworkers ate a piece of candy from a box that contained another piece that was marzipan(? - apparently a nut thing) - she immediately fainted and her skin turned blue. We thought she would die. This is a very serious matter for the 5% of the kids that have this problem (probably only 1% of that 5% have this degree of seriousness). So, if you have a couple of these kids in your school, you kinda have a problem do you not? So, the principals tell all the kids - NO PEANUT BUTTER - but of course youve got one or two obnoxious parents that think this is some kind of joke and give their kids pb&j sandwiches so they can terrorize these other kids.

Thats what this is about. Think about it, if your kid had this problem how would you choose to handle it.
