Program trading is going on with AMZN like crazy, and it is tied directly to the tick of the DOW. We were down at Dow -200 and the
SECOND that it ticked up to Dow -198 Amazon starting climbing like crazy. If the Dow ticks down, Amazon goes down too...

The reason this is a high beta stock is because hundreds of people have tied their program orders to the dow- thus making Amazon a sort of Dow derivative.

You should have seen the trades when it touched 110 for a moment.. There were about 90 trades of 100 shares each (sells) in 1 SECOND.

Slowly but surely, I am realizing that most of the shares are being held by twitchy Charles Schwab retail investors.
