My post was not intended as a general defense of Elliot Wave Theory. If you want to argue the ontological underpinnings of causality and how they relate to technical analysis, your post might be better directed at High Grader, as he at least seems to understand the latter.
My comment was only meant to honor High Grader's analysis of AAPL's price movement over the past few months. The simple fact is that he has been uncanny at calling highs and lows.

P.S. Thanks for the rec on the Fibonacci book. I've always been fascinated with the Golden Ratio and such. For a bizarre, but good movie on the subject, go see "Pi".
