Steve - you need to get up to speed here

(1) More than half of NIR is half by less than 10 long term holders who have been around since Napier's anti-stain days. They held through the run up to $4.88 - they are holding now - and I suspect that they'll continue to hold for a good while yet. In the mean time Napier will continue to push ahead with licensing deals, partnerships and linkages - plus push ahead with sales to their own client base (e.g., airlines) which is independent of ICI and K-G client bases. Once NIR has moved higher these large long-term holders of NIR will start to take some profits - but it won't be at 500%, it'll be at 3,000%+ when NIR pushes through $10.

(2) If NIR does indeed become a takeover target down the road then as I was told - and as I reported quite a while ago now - NIR would have to get to $20 before it even got a quarter of the way there! A market takeover just isn't on the cards and any takeover would require board approval. I suspect that the large longterm NIR holders may retain a sizeable portion of their holding in anticipation of a takeover bid down the road. So why sell at $1.50 as you indicated may be prudent for holders of cheap paper - when you will be offered way more than that should a takeover bid be mounted.

(3) NIR does not have a deal to buy anything from Aquasol. Reread the April 21 News:

"...
Napier and Aquasol have further agreed, irrespective of the above noted transaction, to immediately enter into a mutual private labeling agreement so as not to delay the subsequent private labeling agreement with I.C.I.. Therefore, if the plan of arrangement between Napier and Aquasol does not complete, both companies will nonetheless obtain certain exclusive marketing rights for the other's product.
..."

They have a mutually exclusive and mutually beneficial licensing agreement.

Along with the large longtime NIR investors I will continue to hold for a good while yet. Napier will need at least 12 more months to further develop and mature in order to give us a much better indication of its potential market domination.

However, so far so good - continues to look very very promising. The volatility of the share price at these levels doesn't mean that much to me as I'll be holding for a good while to come.

David.
