Jack, I believe that you can buy x number of shares today. Sell the higher cost shares tomorrow, FIFO first in first out and take the loss on those without the 30 day rule taking effect. At these prices many shares can be replaced that way. Hard to do with more expensive shares. Do not quote me on this. SG
