COLUMBIA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 30, 1998--Gunther Than, President, View Systems, Inc. announced Wednesday the completion of a merger with Bigi, Inc.
The company decided to complete the merger with Bigi, Inc. to effect trading of its shares in the public marketplace. Shares in View Systems will be trading under the symbol VYST on the OTC BB.
View Systems, Inc. ("VYST") develops software for compressing, storing, searching and transmitting high quality digitized static and cinematic images, along with enhanced surveillance capacity utilizing innovative compression and decompression of digital inputs. View is taking steps to protect its intellectual property in its compression product and algorithm.
View has been developing compression software achieving compression of 380:1 for 24-bit high color video images and 60:1 for sound with negligible loss of data.
"The potential world wide market size for this product in 1999 is estimated at$200 billion", says Mr. Than. The markets include; all branches of the military services, federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, commercial security companies, residential home security market, and many others.
