Substantially better. I would guess 500k downstream. The intent of MCOM's approach was cellular phone. It never seem to catch on as much as it seemed it could. In remote areas if you have telephone, you might as well get DSL. Where the cable won't go, DSL will. Almost. The remaining few possibilities aren't investment worthy.

MCOM might be bottoming, but you had better be strongly in the know to buy it. It seems cheap even relative to my understanding of the narrowness of the market. They can grow in their niche market without much competitive interference. You don't have to conquer the world to succeed in business or in investment.
