Anil: I hope you didn't dump PSFT on account of today's nasty market 'cos I think they will be added to SPX after tomorrow's close-see below. "Software applications maker PeopleSoft Inc (Nasdaq:PSFT - news) will take the place of First Chicago (NYSE:FCN - news) on the S&P 500 Index after Oct. 1 after First Chicago merges with S&P 500 component Bank One Corp..." I got stuck with BMCS yesterday and it was up a dollar during the last hour trading today,the reason might be they would be added to SPX after the close today. REF:Budget surplus 'I am hearing all this talk on CNN about the US budget surplus, and I am thinking, could the 70 billion the government took out of the economy, but did not put back in, have something to do with the problems the economy is having?.. I don't think the government took this out of the economy as you stated unless of course they are hiding it under the Senate floor.<gg> Lastly, did you say you or someone you know participated in Satyam Computers IPO?? I was the checking the prices for some of the Indian stocks and found Stayam trading for Rs.583 and change and Infosys Tech (would you believe it) for Rs.2550.00 on the National Stock Exchange!!!! Looks like InfoSys may split sooner than later 'cos unless one is 'high networth' individual not many can afford to buy the share in India at these prices. Anyway keep the faith,seeya.
