Ok I will go out on a limb here and predict tomorrow we will be UP. I base this on my belief that Greenspan will say something during his testimony before the House Banking Committee that will be decifered as further interest rate cuts are forthcoming. Tomorrows Timetable follows:

Greenspan speech
10 a.m.
The Fed chairman and New York Fed President William McDonough
testify before the House Banking Committee on hedge funds.

Rubin speech
1 p.m. The Treasury secretary gives remarks on the global economy at the 7th annual Conference on the Americas in New York.

Federal Open Market Committee minutes
2 p.m.
The Fed's interest-rate setting committe releases the minutes of
its Aug. 18 meeting.
