OK fair enough. Let me think about this specific scenario with tools. But dont you agree that the programming environment - and the WAY programs are developed - really hasnt changed in 20 yrs? If we didnt do thinks to keep wages down, then the mkt would correct the problem theoretically, with advancements in automation, or with better/more productive people entering the field. I keep hearing how high technical salaries are. Compared to what? If I were in school today I would head for finance, just based on the pay alone. No wonder theres no new graduates. Michelle
