Bill, I'm looking at a wide range of stocks and options. The Dow average is significant of course, but the relative performance of smaller stocks to the heavies is what I'm watching in particular because so many smaller stocks have had significant corrections. Is this a big cap blowoff or is support collapsing across the board?

Interest rate cuts are always favorable to banks. As everyone is aware many have become partnered with questionable loans and find themselves hedged. Those banks, wherever they are (ideas?), that have a conservative portfolio should be unusually attractive now because with lowered rates their returns should be a home run... indeed they might even be takeovers for their good guy balance sheets.
