I think this is an endgame strategy. Both of them counted on being bankable after his term ended. In the end, I think these two are really all about power and money. Now he has been discredited. He's no role model to be elected to corporate boards, etc. No big bucks. Remember he's never had a real job and they don't even own a house. If they claim she was duped, she is somewhat redeemed and she will at least still be bankable after he resigns, is impeached or limps to the finish line. At least they will get by. JMHO. JLA
