Steve, Just for the record, don't you think management had this order and twx wouldn't let them announce it. And they were afraid to say anything, because of the onco fiasco, etc. So they put it in nebulous terms in the letter (which you can bet your ass the lawyers read and approved!). End of discussion.

Mr. Belfer, The printer you referred to was named Chiarella. He worked for Sorg printing which is now defunct. It is a famous case. But he was reading tender offer documents, which are disseminated widely instantly, often when the markets are closed. That was material inside information because it involved a company wanting to buy another. (Everyone thought printers were too stupid to know what the big guys on the street were doing. Now such docs are printed much more carefully)
