Well, I guess if one excludes both the blanks AND the undecideds, Cardozo has 57%. Which is a pretty strong 1st round ends it majority. BUT, I'm trying to put myself in a borderline supporter of Cardoso's position. He knows Cardozo is necessary. Without him the economy gets scarry. He's afraid though that Cardozo will over do it post election, and really put the screws to government spending (and taxes) like those IMF foreign bankers friends want. Sooooo I do want the vote to go to Cardozo's head. I won't vote for Lulu, because that's too dangerous, but I'll vote for the other guy. Or vote blank. Then I'll be sure to vote for Cardozo in the 2nd round, to be sure he does end up winning. Without too big a head. Wonder if that's how a lot of the undecideds, and even some of the pro-Cardozo votes go? How's that as an exercise in totally useless political culture speculating about a country I've never even visted? (But paid some attention to.) <gg> These AMERICANS! <gg> Doug
