There are 29167 Troy ounces in a short ton, So 300 short tons is 8,750,100 ounces. Tonnes mentioned by foreign banks may be metric tonnes of 1 million grams or 32151.34 ounces Troy. So that could be as many as 9,645,403 ounces.
