"Northern Telecom Ltd. warned this week that it will record lower-than-expected third and fourth quarter revenue." This is another example of very sloppy news reporting by the WSJ. NT reported lower than expected revenue for the third quarter and expected revenue for the year with expected earnings for the year. The analysts were listening. They were so eager to downgrade the whole sector, they misquoted the report.
