Dixon Comment What ever economics are at work for Dixon may also be at work for Earthlink too. I wonder what those economies are. Floods of advertising? Unique UK phone network or rate anomolies? What's in it for Dixon? The article presents us with their optimism, but not their financial foundation. We are already growing astronomically at $19.95. At the moment, hordes of people are willing to pay for the quality of service they are getting from Earthlink's nationwide network. I wonder what the quality and availability of "Free" internet access will be like. Comments? Hal PS: Local to me, the school district has free internet access for employees. Its hard to access and hard to stay connected. Apparently, there is some sort of service rationing going on. (Of course, there is no unnecessary advertising here to support the cost burden.)
