I'm in agreement over the long haul and suspect you are correct, particularly off any major bottom ie. S&P <=750, there will bucks made within five years. I may put everything into Microsoft and take a vacation from HMOs and PPOs, etc..

With that said let me suggest, at least for a short mid-range bull, that gold may not be a bad a bet. I realize your feelings on the subject are on the negative side. Currency thus far is waaaay beyond my understanding; but an item on the back burner with other things to learn.
