Well made computer including the CPU and a stable OS.

What is the definition of a stable OS? In my work environment, a typical Sun workstation running Solaris may have a dozen different users logged on, running hundreds of different processes. It is expected to do this without crashing, forever.

NT 4.0 obviously does not support multiple users. But suppose it did. What would you expect the MTBF be?

Any critical comparison between NT and Solaris or Linux indicates that NT is a very lightweight (and yet very bloated) OS.
