ASND is in only one segment of networking industry, Remote Access market, and has been hurt by the price war and squeezed by other competiters from USRX, CSCO, COMS. Its IP switch has not been proven of market acceptance. CSCC has more diversified products than ASND, Frame Relay and ATM, which are building the backbone of the internet. P.S, CSCO's AS5200 has been 50% of ASND's MAX line run rate at present according to some analysts. Clearly ASND is losing market share to CSCO. Steve
