<<<Best news I have heard because it's new an names AMTX & NEC both .>>>

Ray, it's a long ways from new, but it is nice to see it get a little more press. The NEC partnership was announced last June and the final version announced in November:

amati.com

amati.com

What *hasn't* been announced is the inclusion of Amati in the HKT contract.

At any rate, the importance of the NEC partnership hasn't been appreciated by more than a handful on the Street. What's baffling is that so few follow announcements by entire governments saying they're earmarking money for Internet connections and bandwidth upgrades--- many of them mentioning ADSL specifically. I know I'm biased, but for anyone wanting a pure play on bandwidth for the internet, Amati is a natural.

Okay, off my soapbox.

Regards,

Pat
