Safeway got into supply chain management a few months ago. Same thing happened with McDonalds. Just look for the foods companies that implement SCM software and Ive never seen one that didnt outperform for the next few qtrs. The problem is if you dont know the foods biz/cyclicals etc its hard to judge the stocks. Michelle
