Reuters, Thursday, December 26, 1996 at 12:13 SAN DIEGO, Dec 26 (Reuter) - Several purchasers of Oakley Inc stock filed a class action suit alleging Oakley, several officers and two investment banking firms artificially inflated Oakley's stock. The suit was filed by investors who bought Oakley stock between March 22, 1996 and December 5, 1996 and relates to Oakley's $230 million stock offering in June 1996. The complaint alleges Oakley inflated the stock by indicating it would achieve substantial year-over-year quarterly earnings per share gains throughout 1996 and 1997.
