Oh geez. A bait and tackle shop. Am I the only one longing for the sophistication of Tom Clancy political thriller? Couldnt these dealings happen in Air Force One, or on the ceiling of the Space Needle, or in a dang Nordstroms dept store for gods sake!! Dozhier paid Hale as much as $ 5,000 in small increments from the bait shop's cash register during that period and gave Hale free use of his car. I wonder if it was really 5K in small increments. It might have been 5K worth of live bait - worms etc.
