Ray. The NEC/HK telecom contract indicates that 250,000
lines to be installed over four years. It seems that Amati
will build all the modems, that means a lot of revenue.
What is not clear is whether NEC has an exclusive right to
the VDSL technology. May be Pat knows.

I think HK telecom got a fantastic deal from NEC by being the
first to install the NEC interactive multimedia system.
