Jim, you are the only one who is befuddled. I read the earning report in quite some detail and must say it is one of the most upbeat report that I ever saw. There is no negative statement other than the normal legal disclaimer. Earning was great, backlog increased (I want to see the face of a couple of my Wall Street friends who predicted order cancellation a month ago). In addition, the statement about Surfscan AIT has left out "the risk of timely availability of new product" clause, which is making my KLAC friends quite nervous. I see no base of the price drop. Hope it is technical consolidation before it goes up. KLAC dipped a bit after earning report too. However, if it does not go up early next week, I will start suspenting there is something that I do not know, and may do something with my TNCR holdings. Maybe this is exactly the psycology behind the price drop. Let keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.
