Hi, Daniel

Thanks for your remarks. As a point of clarification, though, let me say that Chris Bloc asked that I invest in the local, independent affillate office in New Orleans, not in the parent organization. I still believe the solicitation was a bit inappropriate. Don't we use that word "inappropriate" a lot lately? <g>

The point is, investing in public organizations is tricky enough. To invest in a private company is even more risky, partly due to the lack of regulatory scrutiny and public financial disclosure. Talk about "earnings warning!" Wow.

Somewhat related, I discussed the matter briefly with Mark Stryker and he expressed deep sympathy for the employees and traders at Block Trading Inc, which I thought was rather decent of him given that Block is (was) a competitor and something of a pain in the butt to CyberTrader. The Block problem is not good for anyone.

Bill
