What you say is absolutely true in general, and I personally must try very hard to remain objective because, between stock and salary, my financial well-being depends significantly on SGI's performance. I have no intention of burying my head in the sand.

However I must point out that the purpose of the "Myth vs. Reality" page is not to cheerlead and hype the company, but to answer common misconceptions propagated by media types who are either badly misinformed or too lazy to do their own homework. I see an awful lot of reckless reporting, and as an employee and stockholder I find it very frustrating.

Part of the problem of course is that SGI's marketing department has been somewhat ineffective in the past. Hopefully the new management team will do better. The fact that we have actually begun advertising seems to be a positive sign.
