To All;

I was reading Michael Murphy's article on embedded processor(microcontrollers). It indicates that pure plays in
the embedded market are microchip, idti, and cypress.
It mentions that RSYS is not a pure play and that they just
modified x86 boards.

Could somebody with expertise in the embedded processor please
explain?
