I WANT TO THANK YOU WEXLER ... because of you, I took the time to learn and understand how this whole "shorting" process works.
I'm usually out of the market last half of the year. But this year, for the first time, decided to "short". I didn't get involved with shorting small caps though, like you and your cronies. I didn't go around to various threads shouting "fraud". I'd been researching global economy, and started to short banks and brokerage firms back in August ... around the same time you were going long ... LOL.
THANK YOU!!! I've been making LOTS of money:-)
Am in the process of an out-of-state move. Will be off line for some time. I'm not even sure, when I'm finally settled, that I'll post on SI again. I got disgusted by a lot of what I've seen. Got tired of all of your B.S. thru the months. Realize now that you were, and are, just a small-time, but LOUD player.
You always implied that I was a paid shill on TAVA. I never was. I rarely traded. I had NO contact with management or IR. I just did a lot of research, and shared with others on the thread. I realize in retrospect I was a pawn. Very disheartening. Especially when you would "stalk" and denegrate me.
I did fine with TAVA. Have over a 200% return locked-in, over past 1-1/2 years. Still holding several thousand shares I bought at 3-3/4. If I was truely a "shill" ... I would have sold my position when I was up 600%.
I feel bad about GOOD people (little guys) who've lost money. That was tough enough for them, but then you had to gloat, distort and rub their noses in it. You have no class, empathy or sense of integrity.
I don't feel badly for YOU at all. Actually, I've enjoyed your recent untimely "long" calls. Have gotten perverse pleasure from what you're going thru. Sure are on a losing streak with those "long" calls of yours. Keep it up:-)
GLAD I'M GONNA BE OUTTA HERE FOR A WHILE. I used to enjoy SI. Lost interest when I saw how you & your cronies "played" the shorting game. Totally disgusted me.

ROFLMAO: What goes around, comes around. Wexler, you should have stuck to shorting ... instead of reversing your position and going long!
REMEMBER THIS POST:
SEPT 21: <My bias has turned very bullish, and I am spending more time buying stock (mostly COST and AXP now) and even though I still have a core short portfolio...> BILL WEXLER Message 5806593
Ooh Ooh - you got in on AXP around 82/83 and it's at 73 1/2. You got in on COST around 53 and it's now 44 1/2. GEE ... tough luck. Tsk Tsk ... such big losses in only 2 weeks. What a shame. Gonna take a while to recover and buck market trend. Lucky you're in these issues LONG-TERM.
SEPT 17: <I've been following Costco for the past 3 years and I recently took advantage of the market downturn to purchase much more stock ... I shop at the Costcos in Novato, CA and San Francisco. Both have been very succesful. In fact, while everyone was worrying about the stock market collapsing and the world financial system coming to an end, I stopped by the Novato store to pick up some supplies. I can assure everyone here that the warehouse was not going out of business!> BILL WEXLER
OCT 1: <COST is a bargain at 55...and it's even a better bargain at 45. In the long run it won't make much difference.> BILL WEXLER Message 5780716
<Bill: I suppose you are one of those people who walk into car dealerships and pay whatever the sticker says for the car you want? Face it Bill, you are pissed because you are now down almost 15% on your COST purchase.> HANK exchange2000.com
Gotta kick out of one of your other responses ... tough being on the other side of the fence, huh? <But Bill <sniff>, we're going into a recession <sob>, the financial markets are collapsing <whine> how can you possibly recommend buying Costco when its sure to go to zero!?! --- In the face of analysts predicting retailer doom, Bill Wexler looks into his crystal ball and makes the following bold prediction: The new Chicago Costco warehouses will average $100,000,000 in sales apiece.> BILL WEXLER Message 5882291 _________________________________________________________________
Oh, I forgot your BRIEF "long" excursion into CCI:
< I sold the CCI Oct. 100 puts this morning with the rationale that since I want to buy the stock anyway, I can protect myself a bit and if the stock continues lower and I'll get put at 100 a share...I still like the money center banks, but now I think i'm just going to step back and let things settle out before I plunge in. When the market started falling apart again, I bought them back for a loss. Jeez, things are gruesome.> BILL WEXLER
If you did a little research beforehand, you would have known what this guy said was true, and NEVER wouldn't have considered going long on CCI last month.
<My Friend Bill: Made my first fortune by buying CCI at 10 & sold 5 years later at 100. I know CCI well. - CCI is the biggest player in Brazil. - Brazil is crashing, it is the next domino, that is falling. - The question for CCI shareholders now, is how large will CCI's loss in Brazil be. How many hundreds of millions??? MICHAEL Message 5673306 ________________________________________________________________
No need to respond Wexler. I've seen your {{{ Yawn }}} responses often enough.
