This is a news report from before the DNA test on the dress. Clinton to Blame Stains on Buddy In an ironic parallel to Richard Nixon's "Checkers Speech", President Clinton is preparing to go on national television in an attempt to dispel many of the allegations being leveled against him. Some who have seen an advance copy of the President's script have already dubbed it the "Buddy Speech". In his upcoming T.V. appearance from the Oval Office, the President is reportedly going to cast doubt on the pending results of DNA testing on Monica's blue dress by blaming the stains on the First-Dog Buddy. During the speech the President will say, "On one of Monica's many visits to the White House, to see my secretary Betty Curry, Miss Lewinsky asked if she could play with my puppy. During Monica's play time with my puppy, he got a little too 'friendly' with her leg. It was during this incident that the now infamous stains first appeared on her dress." Speaking off the record, one high-ranking Democratic Senator told BNN, "Finally we have the truth. I believe the President's story. However, in the future, the President should do a better job of controlling his puppy."
